A peek behind the curtain...

We find that friends and family are surprisingly interested in how we plan, decide and make our chocolates, so we thought we'd give you a little look backstage...
1. Can you have too much chocolate?
It sounds fun, but testing 20 chocolates in one sitting can overload. Steve prioritises taste above all and has a total disregard for cost (to Giles' perpetual dismay!)
2. Spacial awareness is key
We order packaging first to get it sorted. On arrival, it becomes a game of 'Tetris' (with a lot of swearing from Steve) to store it all.
3. Now for the fun part
It takes a fair amount of organisation to bring all the ingredients together - Fino de Aroma cocoa, fresh cream & butter (arrive minutes before production), wildflower honey and more...
4. The final steps
Just like a restaurant - those last steps of 'plating-up' and getting the chocolates to you are so important to get right.
And there it is - a little overview of how we get ready, from planning, all the way to your dinner table. We hope you enjoyed it!
INTRODUCING OUR FESTIVE JARS RANGE
We tend to fill the jars as late as we can as they are bulky to store. Hazelnuts are the worst as their nutty nobbles make them particularly tricky to fit comfortably into the jars!
This season, we've got a curated range of Luxury Jars, each with 20 chocolates (pouches have 12) they are a bit fancier and make a really special gift. They are also refillable with our Eco Paper Refills so you need never run out of chocolate again!
You can pre-order today for delivery from early December. All chocolate will remain deliciously fresh until at least 6th January 2025.
We do hope you enjoy the new 2024 Festive range with multiple combinations, new flavours and award winners.
