Double cracks, nobbles and smartening-up our act

WE'VE SMARTENED-UP OUR ACT

When Steve and I filmed Dragons' Den in June 2021, we had to smarten-up a little - this included poor Steve requiring foundation to dull his shiny head!

Ever since we started the business in 2020 with a simple new idea 'Fresh Chocolate', we’ve always listened to you.
 
Along the journey, we've heard
that our chocolates, while proudly containing high quality ingredients, could occasionally look more ‘agricultural than artisanal’.
 
Challenge accepted!

IT HAS TAKEN US A YEAR

We're delighted to introduce our slightly more refined chocolates.
 
They still have  exactly the same quality ingredients and the same delicious fresh taste, but they are slightly more refined in shape with an enhanced 'double-crack' as you bite into them.

THE DOUBLE CRACK

A little bit of science...the first crack happens as your front teeth break the top shell, the second happens moments later as you plunge into the intensely creamy delicious centre and break through the thicker chocolatey base.
 
In short, the double crack gives you an extra bit of textural differentiation that helps to enhance our signature fresh chocolate experience.

WHEN WILL THE NEW SHAPE BE AVAILABLE?

We are changing the chocolates one flavour at a time  - the Dirty Blond has been the first and others will gradually follow in the coming weeks.
 
You may not even notice, but we think they look and taste just that little bit better!

AND FINALLY...

We're very eggcited (sorry!) about a new launch that's coming next week, supplies will be limited. More later.
