In case you hadn't heard, we decided to launch with Kickstarter as a way to involve as many people as safely as possible, with social distancing in place.
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform, where people back your product in exchange for 'rewards' (in our case chocolates!)
After just 48 hours of our 20-day campaign, we achieved full-funding and became the #1 most popular Food project on earth (out of nearly 30,000 live projects)!
In the end, we smashed the original target of £7700 by 185%, thanks to the generosity of friends, family, colleagues past and present and a whole load of others who were kind enough to back us without knowing us at all. We are very grateful for this support.
This means that we have raised enough to complete the development of our new Salted Caramel flavour in time for the festive season and accelerated production of our Gifting Jars (more on that later).
