3 years - bees, micro-batches, Diary of CEO and our first award...
After a slightly out-of-control second year post Dragons' Den, our third year has been calmer and more focused on our actual chocolates and the magic that goes into them.
It has been another year of firsts for us:
- First launch of a fruit flavour - Passion Fruit
- First 'pro' workshop with Steven Bartlett and the Diary of a CEO team
- First Micro-Batch - Strawberries & Cream
- First supplier farm visits, where we learnt about our honey and organic cream.
- First ever Vegan chocolate for Steve
- And our first 'Great Taste' Award for the 2023 Seville Orange
Coming soon... lots of chocolate news, starting with a fresh design
Our new design is an evolution of our current - a little easier to read, with a bigger chocolate picture, brighter colours and more fun with the cartoon characters - we hope you like it.
You'll start to see it in the coming weeks on new products first, then on the rest of the lines later.
This is a design change only - it's still the same delicious fresh chocolate inside.
And a new flavour - 'Dirty Blond'- our first white chocolate
We wrestled with what to call our new creation until Sof, who looks after our marketing said; "it' looks like a dirty blond hairstyle with 'blond' on the outside and little flecks of brown showing through" (not an area of expertise for either Steve or myself) - and the name stuck!
We're racing against the clock to get it ready for mid-October - more soon...
There's lots more to come in November - a NEW celebration flavour, new gifting hampers, festive designs and more...
