This year our Egg has been voted 'Best Artisanal Egg' by Woman & Home and 'Best Milk Chocolate Egg - runner up' in Good Housekeeping.
In an era of automation and digitisation, we believe there is even more need for perfectly imperfect, properly crafted chocolate made with real ingredients.
This Easter, we’re excited to bring you a small batch of our small-batch, hand-finished, foil-wrapped, 150g Medium-sized luxury Easter chocolate eggs, made with a unique, beautifully balanced blend of milk and dark chocolate to give a rich, creamy and intensely chocolatey taste.
Thanks to our artisanal marbling-process, each chocolate egg is naturally and totally delicious, but ever so slightly different and therefore totally unique.
So, necessity is the mother of invention….last year we had a few eggs that arrived (ahem) scrambled – they tasted wonderful at least.
This year we’ve learnt and are delighted to be using 'FLEXI-HEX' packaging - first invented in Cornwall to ship surfboards around the world.
We even ran a 'drop-test' with a Flexi-Hex wrapped-egg from Steve's first floor bathroom window - it worked!
Flexi-Hex is a plastic-free solution to cushion your Easter chocolate gifts in-transit and ensure it arrives in perfect condition, beautifully presented and encased for the lucky recipient.
Also we think it looks really cool, as approved by Bonnie the rabbit and our ‘employee of the week’ who behaved beautifully at her photo-shoot – giving the eggs an approving sniff, then hopping off!
This year, we've got two main Easter ranges:
1) For the Chocolate Explorer – 5 flavours to try in ‘Mini’ and ‘Maxi’ format
We've been quietly on-sale for just a few days off the site, but our Mini-Monty is already our no1 seller - one 150g egg and 5 fresh-chocolate flavours in mini-pouches together with pro-tasting notes.
2) For the Chocolate Purist – an egg with one or two flavours in luxury glass jars
Alongside the egg, the additional jar of fresh chocolates is available in all our flavours: Creamy Milk, Dirty Blond, Cracking Hazelnut, Smooth Dark, Extra Dark or Award Winning Marc de Champagne

We've made just a few hundred milk and dark chocolate Easter eggs, so we recommend pre-ordering as soon as possible to secure yours.

We’re taking pre-orders throughout March, the Eggs will then be hand-packed (it's surprisingly tricky to foil & wrap an egg!) and sent out with the freshest chocolates from 1st April to arrive in plenty of time for Easter on 20th April. All chocolates will remain deliciously fresh until at least the start of June.
WRAPPED WITH LOVE
We are chocolate makers and while we’ve got better, it’s only our second year wrapping Easter-Eggs ourselves (larger companies typically do this by-machine!) and the Hex-Flex packaging arrives in pieces, so your eggs are, as we say all 'wrapped with love', or ‘perfectly imperfect’ - please excuse the odd crinkle. Please note that the Flexi-Hex is designed to protect the egg like a crumple-zone.
But really, it's all about the best dark chocolate Easter eggs - made with lashings of fresh organic cream and zero palm oil.
