What is fresh chocolate?

The regular chocolate bar was invented in the early 1900s, long before fridges and is manufactured to sit on a supermarket shelf  for a year or more.

Fresh chocolates take taste and texture to the next level by replacing the usual palm oil with fresh organic double-cream.

We know this makes fresh chocolates taste richer and melt-in-the-mouth sublime – just read our customer reviews.

Because they are fresh, our chocolates need to be hidden in your fridge and eaten within 4 weeks (if you need that long!)

How long will fresh chocolates last?

Because our chocolates are fresh, you need to keep them in the fridge to maintain the delicious fresh flavours.

Our chocolates are made in batches and will typically arrive with at least 4 weeks' shelf-life (usually more) however, we'll be surprised if you need that long to eat them!

What is your experience in chocolate making?

We have over 40 years' experience in chocolate and over 100 years of chocolate heritage. This is an assurance of a high-quality chocolate experience!

How do you preserve your fresh chocolates?

Unlike regular supermarket chocolates, our fresh chocolates are made with fresh organic cream and wildflower honey (a brilliant natural preservative) and absolutely no palm oil. So, please keep our chocolates in the fridge and eat within 4 weeks.

Why do I need to keep chocolates in the fridge?

Because they're made with fresh organic cream instead of vegetable oil. Real cream
melts and spoils, so they need to be kept cool. It's actually a sign that our chocolates are made properly, with real ingredients, not shelf-stable preservatives. Most "luxury" brands use vegetable oils (like palm) to avoid this, but we won't compromise on quality.

Our Valentine's Day chocolate collections are crafted with fresh organic cream, proper cocoa butter, and absolutely no palm oil.

Each collection is designed to celebrate love - whether that's bold and dark, creamy and indulgent, or a mix of flavours for someone who loves variety. They're made in small batches in a kitchen-process not mass-produced months in advance.
